Good demand for G-1 grade coal in April e-auction

May 27: Good demand was witnessed for G-1 grade coal (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during April 2014 as out of 26,500 tons offered, 19,140 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,200 per ton.
However, good demand was also witnessed for G-1 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during March 2014 as out of 69,250 tons offered, 45,790 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,404 per ton.
During February, no such coal was offered for allotment via this platform.
