January 3: Good demand was witnessed for G12 (GCV between 3,700 and 4,000 Kcal/kg) grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during December 2013 as 1,292,270 tons of the offered quantity of 1,300,000 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,281/ton.
However, in November 2013, good demand was witnessed for G12 (GCV between 3,700 and 4,000 Kcal/kg) grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform as 1,076,990 tons of the offered quantity of 1,150,000 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,267/ton.
In October, moderate demand was witnessed for G12 grade coal offered as 270,000 tons of the offered quantity of 315,800 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,201/ton.
