February 24: Good demand was witnessed in January 2014 for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by MCL and SECL for allotment through the MSTC platform as 1,129,990 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 1,130,000 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 1,214 per ton.
