November 27: Out of 26,570 tons of G-4 grade (GCV between 6,101 and 6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL, ECL, WCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in October 2013, 26,520 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,619 per ton.
In September, however, out of 184,914 tons of G-4 grade (GCV between 6,101 and 6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL, ECL, WCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC, 171,974 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,436 per ton.
