May 7: G-7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with good demand on the coaljunction platform in April as out of the 72,000 tons of coal offered, 71,750 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,925/ton.
However, in March 2014, out of the offered quantity of 89,700 tons, 58,340 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,679/ton.
In February as out of the offered quantity of 83,350 tons, 76,260 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,902/ton.
