April 23: There was good demand for G-8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by two subsidiaries of CIL in March 2014 as 73,000 tons were offered from which 66,850 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,057 per ton.
However, there was good demand for G-8 grade coal offered on the MSTC platform by two subsidiaries of CIL in February 2014 as 68,650 tons were offered from which 50,480 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,288 per ton.
On the other hand, there was good demand for G-8 grade coal offered on the MSTC platform by three subsidiaries of CIL in January 2014 as 65,000 tons were offered from which 43,600 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,204 per ton.
