June 25: There was good demand for G-8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by three subsidiaries of CIL in May 2014 as 66,200 tons were offered from which 58,510 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,774 per ton.
There was also similar demand for G-8 grade coal offered on the MSTC platform by three subsidiaries of CIL in April 2014 as 199,500 tons were offered from which 189,490 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,329 per ton.
A fair good demand was also witnessed for G-8 grade coal offered on the MSTC platform by two subsidiaries of CIL in March 2014 as 73,000 tons were offered from which 66,850 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,057 per ton.
