July 7: G7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with good demand on the coaljunction platform in June as out of the 33,300 tons offered, 27,060 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,997/ton.
Similar demand was witnessed for the same grade of coal in May as out of 188,500 tons offered, 168,800 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,815/ton.
This same grade of coal also met with good demand on the coaljunction platform in April as out of the 72,000 tons offered, 71,750 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,925/ton.
