November 27: Good demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3 & W4) coking coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) for allotment through the MSTC platform during the month of October 2013.
During October 2013, a total of 181,800 tons of coking coal were offered for allotment out of 155,920 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the material stood at Rs 3,221 per ton.
However, during September 2013, a total of 173,400 tons of coking coal were offered for allotment out of 69,090 tons got allotted. The weighted average price stood at Rs 3,837 in September.
