April 22: In March 2014, good demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal as out of a total quantity of 83,600 tons offered for allotment by WCL on MSTC's e-auction platform, 69,680 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,669 per ton.
However, during February 2014, out of a total quantity of 93,800 tons of mixed grade coal offered for allotment by WCL on MSTC's e-auction platform, 49,150 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,023 per ton.
On the other hand, during January 2014, out of a total quantity of 138,450 tons of mixed grade coal offered for allotment by WCL on MSTC's e-auction platform, 110,830 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,698 per ton.
The entire material offered during the month was for delivery via road.
