November 27: A total of 207,680 tons of G-6 grade (GCV 5,501 to 5,800 Kcal/kg) of coal offered by four subsidiaries of CIL met with good demand in the October 2013 e-auctions conducted on the MSTC platform as 194,298 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,595 per ton.
However, in September, a total of 59,600 tons of G-6 grade of coal was offered by three subsidiaries of CIL which met with strong demand as 57,350 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,836 per ton.
