Govt to sell 4 units of Cement Corporation of India

September2: The government has invited expression of interest (EoI) for the outright sale on four non-operating units of Cement Corporation of India.

The units are located in Mandhar, Akaltara, Nayagaon and Kurkunta, said a PIB release.

The release said these units have limestone reserves for useful life of the plants for manufacturing of cement, including other basic infrastructure. The government is also hopeful that the locational advantage would also be prospective for real estate and other investors as they could sell land for industrial/ commercial/ residential purposes
