May 27: Gujarat NRE Coke Limited, on May 25, reported a net loss of Rs 196.57 crore during the January-March quarter (fourth quarter) of 2013-14 as against a net profit of Rs 5.15 crore recorded in the same quarter of 2012-13, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, however, the net loss of the company narrowed compared to a net loss of Rs 277.48 crore reported in the quarter ended September-December (third quarter).
For 2013-14, net loss of the company stood at Rs 560.80 crore compared to a net profit of Rs 30.97 crore in 2012-13. Total income from operation during the year stood at Rs 932.38 crore compared to Rs 1,713.04 crore in 2012-13.
