Gypsum imports via Cochin Port at 622 tons in Nov

December 10: Imports of gypsum via Cochin Port stood at 622 tons during the month of November 2014 while during the previous month, gypsum imports via the port stood at 29 tons, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
During the first eight months (April-November) of 2013-14, total gypsum imported via the port stood at 3,474 tons whereas the figure stood at 3,227 tons during the corresponding month of the previous fiscal.

During the month of November 2014, 320 tons came from Iran at a price range of Rs 4,915-Rs 4,951 ($79-$80) per ton while the balance 302 tons came in from the UAE at a price range of Rs 4,631-Rs 13,790 ($75-$220) per ton.
