Gypsum imports via Kolkata drop to 134 tons in Dec m-o-m

January 9: Import volumes of gypsum via Kolkata dropped to 134 tons in December 2013 against 156 tons reported in November 2013, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In December, 84 tons arrived from Iran at Rs 7,127 ($114) and 50 tons from Thailand at Rs 6,964 ($111) per ton.

In November, 135 tons arrived from Iran at a unit price of Rs 6,077 ($96) while the balance 21 tons came from Malaysia at a unit price of Rs 5,601 ($89).
