November 19: Imports of gypsum via Mundra Port decreased 29.18% to 673 tons in October 2015 from 950 tons in September, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In October 2014, gypsum imports via Mundra Port stood at 34,156 tons.
For the first seven months (April-October) of the current fiscal (2015-16), gypsum imports through Mundra Port decreased 53.95% to 41,800 tons from 90,781 tons imported in the same period of last year.

In October 2015, a volume of 270 tons came in from Iran at Rs 3,693 ($ 56) per ton and the remaining 403 tons from Oman at a range of Rs 8,899-Rs 9,242 ($135-$141) per ton.
In September, 2015, a volume of 581 tons came from Iran at the price range of Rs 3,255 to Rs 3,765 ($49-$57). The remaining 369 tons came in from Oman at Rs 9,020 ($135) per ton.
