Gypsum imports via Mundra sharply up in Nov m-o-m

December 23: Imports of gypsum through Mundra port stood at 519 tons in November 2013, sharply up from 96 tons imported during the month of October 2013, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In November 2013, 135 tons came from China at a price of Rs 3,653 ($58) per ton, 54 tons from Iran at a price of Rs 3,399 ($54) per ton, 330 tons came from Oman at a price range of Rs 3,875-Rs 8,952 ($61-$141) per ton while during October 2013, the entire material came in from Thailand at a price of Rs 13,928 ($222) per ton.
