Gypsum imports via Paradip down 44.43% in May m-o-m

June 10: Gypsum imports through the port of Paradip fell 44.43% to 55,400 tons in May 2014, compared to 99,700 tons in April, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In March, imports of 55,000 tons of gypsum were reported through the port.
In May, two consignments arrived from Oman arrived in the port at a unit price of Rs 1,499 and Rs 1,500 ($25 each).
In April, 52,200 tons arrived from Oman at a unit price of Rs 1,547 ($26) while the balance 47,500 tons came in from Thailand at a unit price of Rs 1,643 ($27).
