Gypsum imports via Paradip drop 22.58% in Dec m-o-m

January 27: Gypsum imports through the port of Paradip in December 2013 dropped 22.58% to 44,000 tons in December 2013 against 56,835 tons reported in November, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

In December, the entire consignment arrived from Oman at a unit price of Rs 1,749 ($28).

In November, however, 54,800 tons arrived from Oman at a unit price of Rs 1,502 (24) and 2,035 tons came from Iran at Rs 1,709 ($27) per ton.
