Gypsum imports via Paradip rise 81.27% in April m-o-m

May 22: Gypsum imports through the port of Paradip rose 81.27% to 99,700 tons in April against a volume of 55,000 tons reported in in March 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
There were no gypsum imports in February.
In April, 52,200 tons arrived from Oman at a unit price of Rs 1,547 ($26) while the balance 47,500 tons came in from Thailand at a unit price of Rs 1,643 ($27).
In March, two consignments of gypsum arrived from Oman in a price band of Rs 1,683 - Rs 1,657 ($27).
