July 15: Import of gypsum through the port of Vizag rose to 181,637 tons in June 2013, down by almost 43.46% from 321,235 tons in May 2013, as per information available with ICMW.

 

In June 2013, the entire material came from Oman at a price range of Rs.1411-Rs.1657 ($24-$28) per ton.

 

However, during May 2013, 239,335 tons came from Oman at a price range of Rs.1339-Rs.1502 ($25-$27) per ton while 81,900 tons came from Thailand at a price range of Rs.1477-Rs.1578 ($27-$29) per ton.
