HZL floats enquiry to procure 0.2 mt of imported coal

March 26: Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), a Vedanta Group company, on March 25, floated an enquiry to procure 200,000 tons of imported steam coal of any origin for loading between April and March 2014.
This was the company's 11th enquiry floated in the current financial year (2013-14).
The company, on February 6, had floated its last enquiry for a similar quantity of imported coal for loading in March and April 2014. On January 8 too, it had floated an enquiry for a similar quantity of imported coal.
HZL is looking to procure coal with a GCV of more than 5,700 Kcal/kg (ARB), TM of less than 12%, ash content of less 25%, sulphur of less than 3.5% and HGI of 42-55.
The company is looking to procure coal of Indonesian/Colombian/US/Australian origin matching the above specifications
The material has to be delivered at Navlakhi Port on the west coast of India in geared Supramaxes, gearless panamaxes or capesize vessels.
Interested parties are required to submit their offers on or before March 27 till 1700 hours with a validity of minimum three working days.
