Haldia Port’s February coal handling up 10.48% m-o-m

Handling of coal (imports of coking and non-coking coal, met coke, R P coke) by Haldia Port stood at 1,181,000 tons in February 2016, up 10.48% from 1,069,000 tons handled in January 2016 this year, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
The handling of coal by the port in February 2015 stood at 1,317,000 tons, which shows that handling in February this year was down 10.33% y-o-y.
The handling of coal by the port during the first 11 months of 2015-16 (April- February) stood at 12,919,000 tons, rising 21.46% from 10,636,000 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.
