Haldia port October coal handling rises 3% m-o-m

November 27: Handling of coal by Haldia port (Haldia Dock Complex) stood at 948,000 tons in October 2015, showing a rise of 3.04% from 920,000 tons handled in September 2015, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

Similarly, during the first seven months (April-October) of 2015-16, coal handling by this port stood at 8,297,000 tons, showing a rise of 49.66% from 5,544,000 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

Likewise, handling of coal by the port in October 2014 stood at 843,000 tons, which shows that handling was up 12.46% y-o-y.
