Haldia’s December limestone handling up 5.35% m-o-m

Handling of limestone by Haldia Dock Complex of Kolkata Port stood at 197,000 tons in December 2015, showing an increase of 5.35% from 187,000 tons in November 2015 as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

Similarly, during the first nine months (April-December) of 2015-16 limestone  handling by this port stood at 1,144,000 tons, showing a decline of 2.80% from 1,177,000 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

Likewise, handling of limestone by the port in December 2014 stood at 92,000 tons, which shows that handling was up 114.13% y-o-y.
