July 30: Strong demand was witnessed in June 2014 for G-13 grade (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal offered by MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 325,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,329 per ton.
There was no coal of this grade offered via this platform in April.
However, very strong demand was witnessed for G-13 (GCV 3,401 to 3,700Kcal/Kg) grade coal offered by MCL for allotment via the platform during April as the entire offered quantity of 450,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,716 per ton
Very strong demand was also witnessed for this grade offered by MCL for allotment via MSTC during March 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 100,000 tons got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 989 per ton.
