December 23: Strong demand was witnessed for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries in November 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 346,160 tons, 207,880 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,125 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, fair demand was witnessed for G8 grade offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in October 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 354,440 tons, 187,920 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,253 per ton.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed for G8 grade coal offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in September 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 300,000 tons, 139,940 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,142 per ton.
