Strong demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3) coking coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) for allotment through coaljunction in January 2016, as per data available with ICMW.
Out of the entire offered quantity of 129,550 tons during January 2016, a volume of 114,800 tons got allotted.
However, the weighted average price rose to Rs 2,756 per ton in January against Rs 2,748 per ton in December.
However, good demand was witnessed for washery grade (W2, W3, W4) coking coal offered by BCCL and CCL for allotment through coaljunction in December 2015.
Out of the entire offered quantity of 99,250 tons during December 2015, a volume of 46,180 tons got allotted. Here, the weighted average price rose to Rs 2,748 per ton in December from Rs 2,594 per ton in November.
However, strong demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3) coking coal offered by BCCL and CCL for allotment through coaljunction in November 2015.
Out of the entire offered quantity of 151,800 tons during November 2015, a volume of 119,950 tons got allotted.
