Hindustan Newsprint extends bid submission date for imported coal

February 7: Hindustan Newsprint Limited (HNL), a Government of India enterprise, which had floated a notice inviting tender (NIT) to procure 50,000 tons of imported coal, has extended the bid submission date till February 12, 2014 up to 3 pm, according to information available with ICMW.

Earlier, the last date for bid submission was scheduled on February 5, 2014, which has now been extended.

The material to be procured should have a GCV of 6,200 Kcal/kg (ADB), 12% total moisture, 10% inherent moisture, 12% ash, less than 1% sulphur, 40-45% volatile matter while the size of the material should vary between 0-50 mm.
