Hindustan Newsprint floats tender to procure imported coal

June 17: Hindustan Newsprint Limited, a public sector undertaking under Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, and a subsidiary of Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited, has floated a tender to source 50,000 tons of imported coal from indigenous sources.
The last date for submission of bids is July 4, 2014.
The company is looking to procure coal with GCV of 6200 Kcal/kg (ADB), Total Moisture of 12% Max. (ARB), Inherent Moisture 10% Max (ADB), Ash content of 10% (ADB), Sulphur of less than 1% (ADB), VM of 40-45% (ADB) and size of 0-50 mm (with -3mm not more than 16%) on plant delivered price within 15 days of confirmation of order or after mutually agreed period.
The company’s plant is located at Kottayam in Kerala.
