IMG meet on bank guarantees rescheduled to Apr 16

April 13: The 29th meeting of the Inter-Ministerial group (IMG), to undertake review of the issue of bank guarantees of the coal blocks, has been rescheduled, according to an official communique from the Ministry of Coal (MoC).

The meeting, which had been scheduled for April 1, will now be held on April 16.

The meeting will vet the replies from the allocatee companies to the show-cause notices issued to them to explain the delay in developing the concerned coal blocks based on the recommendations of the 28th meeting of the IMG held on December 30, 2014.
