IWAI floats tender for DGPS stations in NW-1 and 2

In order to aid navigation and communications, Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has floated a tender seeking bids from eligible tenders for operation and maintenance (O&M) of eight differential global positioning system (DGPS) stations in National Waterways (NW) 1 and 2.
The eight stations are Swaroopganj (West Bengal), Bhagalpur (Bihar), Patna (Bihar), Varanasi (UP), Dhubri (Assam), Jogighopa (Assam), Viswanath Ghat (Assam) and Dibrugarh (Assam).
The tender also includes the scope for comprehensive annual maintenance contract for seven DGPS stations, the tender document said.
The contract would be valid for a period of three years.
The last date for submission of bids is May 20, 2016.
