India to host International Coal Preparation Congress

April 17: After a gap of three decades India will host the International Coal Preparation Congress in 2019. The tri-annual event, which was held last in India in 1982, will be participated by NSG sector companies and policy makers from across the world and deal with promotion of clean coal technology such as beneficiation, R K Sachdev, President Coal Preparation Society of India, said.

The previous editions of the congress were held in the US (2010) and Turkey (2013). The next congress will be held in Russia in 2016.
