May 19: The dull trend witnessed earlier continued into May 16 with major buyers still remaining less active in the market, sources said. The demand for Indonesian coal remained flat in India and China.
Market sources, however, indicated that Indian coal demand may firm up as the general elections are over and positive steps are expected from the new government.
