October 28: The spot coal prices of Indonesian origin continued to remain depressed on October 27 amidst restricted enquiries from India whereas South African and Australian coal of select types inched up a bit, market sources said.
Indian enquiries reportedly picked up in recent weeks, but higher availability of domestic coal in view of increased production by Coal India Ltd is causing little response for imported coal, they said.
