Industry cautious over large-scale expansion: FICCI

While the modest growth in manufacturing remains a concern in the short term, we are optimistic that the reforms undertaken by the government would boost growth in the coming months, Harshavardhan Neotia, President, FICCI, said, commenting on the IIP data for February.

“While there is an immense potential to grow for manufacturing, currently, with the demand scenario not so optimistic, industry is also cautious on any large scale expansion,” Neotia added.
