October 7: Spot coal prices softened in international markets on October 6 amidst low enquiries and ample supplies, market sources said.
Prices of South African steam coal fell further on low demand from European as well as Indian companies, they added.
Indonesian prices remained largely unchanged despite the absence of Indian buyers due to the holidays, they said.
