September 26: Thin trade in Asian markets and scant enquiries resulted in flat trend in international coal prices on September 25.
Demand for thermal coal from India remained lukewarm despite low offers from Indonesia. Prices of South African coal (6,000 NAR) were up marginally but lower grade coal prices slipped, in line with market expectations, trading sources said.
