JD(U) suspects UPA may close coal block cases

Expressing apprehension that the UPA regime may close coal scam cases, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav Monday demanded that the CBI should file chargesheets against the accused.
“Before demitting office, UPA will try to close cases against Naveen Jindal. The CBI could cite lack of evidence for filing a closure report,” he said here.
The CBI had registered 17 FIRs last year. Yadav said the CBI had managed to to file only one chargesheet against Jindal and Dasari Narayan Rao.
