Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag more than doubled to 8,053 tons in January 2016 against 4,000 tons in December 2015, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In January 2016, 8,000 tons arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,063 ($89-90) and the balance 53 tons from China at a unit price of Rs 22,262 ($331).
In December, a single consignment arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,063 ($90).
