February 6: G10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered through e-auction on the coaljunction platform during January saw moderate demand as 530,458 tons out of an offered quantity of 592,178 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,017/ton.
However, G-10 grade coal offered during December saw poor demand as only 54,370 tons out of an offered quantity of 203,400 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,732/ton.
In November, this grade saw good demand as 216,968 tons of the offered quantity of 255,668 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,776/ton.
