Jaypee finalises deal for 4 capesize cargo of S African coal

January 30: The Jaypee Group has finalised the deal to procure four capesize cargo of South African 5,500 Kcal/kg NAR cargo in a range of $75.00-$76.00 per ton FOB for loading between the current date till March, a source said.

The deal was finalised towards the beginning of the week.

ICMW had reported on January 20 that Jaypee Group was likely to conclude the deal by January 27.

The company was looking to get offers on FOB basis from miners and on CIF basis from traders.
