July PCI imports via Paradip Port plunge 89% m-o-m

August 12: PCI coal imports through the port of Paradip plunged by more than 89% to 3,810 tons in July 2014 against a level of 35,229 tons reported in June, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In July, a single consignment arrived from Australia at a unit price of Rs 6,970 (116).
 
In June, all the consignments arrived from Australia in a band of Rs 6,592 – 7,084 ($110-118) per ton.
