July anthracite coal imports via Chennai up 54% m-o-m

August 26: Anthracite coal imports via Chennai Port increased 54% to 696 tons in July 2014 against 452 tons reported in June, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In July, all the consignments arrived from China in a price band of Rs 18,868 – Rs 28,225 ($312-465) per ton. In June too, all the consignments arrived from China in a range of Rs 18,810 – Rs 28,399 ($311-470) per ton.
