July anthracite coal imports via Paradip up 54.60% m-o-m

August 12: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Paradip were at 62,997 tons in July 2014 against a volume of 40,750 tons recorded in June, showing an increase of 54.59%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
 
There were no imports of this material in the preceding month of May.

In July, 35,810 tons arrived from Ukraine in a band of Rs 7,042 – Rs 9,540 ($117-157), 20,262 tons from the Russian federation at a unit price of Rs 9,622 ($160) and the balance 6,925 tons from Vietnam in a band of Rs 16,138 – Rs 17,359 ($269-286) per ton.
 
In June, two consignments arrived from Russia in a band of Rs 7,940 – Rs 8,161 ($132-136) per ton.
