July anthracite coal imports via Vizag drop 63% m-o-m

August 28: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag dropped 63.31% to 16,876 tons in July 2014 against a volume of 46,000 tons recorded in June, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In July, 10,902 tons arrived from the Ukraine in a band of Rs 9,769 – Rs 11,421 ($163-189) per ton while the balance 5,974 tons arrived from Russia in a range of Rs 6,802 – Rs 8,215 ($113-135) per ton.

In June, the entire quantity arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,802 ($113).
