June anthracite coal imports via Chennai drop 10.85% m-o-m

July 25: Anthracite coal imports via Chennai Port dropped 10.85% to 452 tons in June 2014 against 507 tons recorded in May, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In June, all the consignments arrived from China in a range of Rs 18,810 – Rs 28,399 ($311-470) per ton.

In May too, all the consignments arrived from China at a unit price ranging from Rs 19,004-Rs 26,807 ($313-$441).
