June gypsum imports via Vizag Port up 16.83% m-o-m

July 9: Gypsum imports through the port of Vizag dropped 16.83% to 114,162 tons in June 2014 against a volume of 137,274 tons reported in May, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In June, the entire quantum arrived from Oman in a price range of Rs 1,407 – Rs 12,431 ($24-208) per ton.

In May too, the entire material arrived from Oman in a price band of Rs 1,427-Rs 9,577- ($24-$157).
