June met coke imports via New Mangalore fall 5.36%

August 7: Met coke imports via New Mangalore Port fell 5.36% during June 2014 to 43,239 tons from 45,689 tons imported in May, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In June 2013, met coke imports via the port stood at nil.
Total imports of met coke through New Mangalore Port in April-June 2014-15 stood at 155,006 tons against 92,500 tons recorded in the same period of the previous financial year.

In June 2014, the entire material came in from China at a price range of Rs 8,402-Rs 13,561 ($139-$227) per ton whereas during May 2014, the entire material came in from China at a price range of Rs 8,437-Rs 13,561 ($140-$226) per ton.
