Kandla Feb coking coal imports down 67% m-o-m

March 31: Coking coal imports through the port of Kandla stood at 14,600 tons in February 2015 down 66.89% from 44,091 tons reported in January 2015, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
Imports of coking coal through the port during February 2014 stood at 23,500 tons.

In February, the entire consignment arrived from Australia at a price range of Rs 7,788 ($125)-Rs 8,830 ($141) per ton.
In January 2015 too, the entire material came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 7,571-Rs 9,191 ($122-$148) per ton.
